About Alison
Alison has been teaching exercise classes for over ten years and comes from a sports/dance background and loves the
outdoors and rock climbing and windsurfing. Alison has a passion for exercise for good health and disease prevention and strives to make her Body Sculpting classes fun, varied and cater to all levels of fitness. Qualified as a Personal Trainer and Pilates instructor Alison offers a wide experience in instructing, coaching and motivating with an emphasis on making the experience enjoyable with a variety teaching techniques to all levels of fitness ability. By building relationships clients want to attend classes and Alison believes the best way to be healthy, happy and fit is to take part in activities one enjoys.
About Body Sculpting
Define and sculpt your body, look years younger, slimmer and have a zest for life. These classes use a range of exercise techniques from hand weights, fit ball. own body weight and core stability work to tighten, shape, tone, individualize your muscles and increase bone density.
Class Format
Classes start with a low intensity aerobic warm-up easy aerobic dance/Zumba style or boxercise routine to music, followed by hand weights, fit ball, mat work etc in rapid succession and finishes with deep stretches and flexibility work using the philosophies of Pilates and Yoga. This class is suitable to those who have an average fitness level and are looking to improve looks, vitality and give your body a kick start to feeling alive!
